A website on the Internet consists of:

• 1) An internet web hosting company that keeps your website pages located on their web server so that anyone can access them. You must pay them a monthly fee for this hosting service. The more complex your website, the more the monthly hosting fee will be.
  
• 2)An address or domain name like www.your_web_site.comwhere your website can be accessed by someone typing your website name into their internet browser, 
  
  
• 3) A main page [or home page] that shows up as your first page and a number of sub-pages [or documents] that can be accessed from your main page.  The main page must be called index.html.

Most people who want an internet presence [i.e. a website] want, as a minimum,

• a way for their customers to be able to find out what services they provide,
• where they are located,
• one or more telephone numbers where they can be reached,
• an email address where they can be reached and
• some display of their work or services.
  
  A simple website design will accomplish all of this with a minimum of expense.

  Simple website designs like this one will give you a presence on the internet for a one time charge of $250. You can then put your domain name [for example http://www.yourbusinessname.com] on your business cards, business forms, etc. If you want a modification to your website later, the cost will be $25/hr. You get web hosting for simple website designs for $5/month. If you do not have a domain name, it will cost about $10 per year. We will check availability of the domain name for you.

  Your total first year investment is:

  • $10 for your domain name
  • $60 for hosting your website
  • one time $250 charge for simple website designs.

  Your total cost will be $320 for the first year and $70 each subsequent year.

  The $250 simple website designs will be paid via PayPal, money order, or check. The domain name and web hosting will be paid to the website hosting company using PayPal or credit card. If you already have a domain name, there will be a transfer fee of about $10.

  • the domain name you wish to use
  • your logo image, if you have one or we can make a text logo for you like the one on this page
  • the wording you want in your website
  • one to four pictures available, if you want to include pictures
  • include the telephone number you want your customers to call
  • include the email address you want your customers to use
  • pick out background and text colors
  
  

  The address of the simple website design(s) will be emailed to you. You can look at the design and call for any changes you would like to make.
